In my memories, the house was rather large. The red wooden shutters each dressed windows, opening onto stone facades. Around, a vast green garden (the small front garden was enough to play ping pong eating as tilleuil-aligning so large tables noisy-or give dramas (which I will be ) , while the bottom after the sandbox where sleeping peacefully in an old car iron, was an angry mark snakes and therefore prohibited for children-my grandmother valiant, yet there was hanging washing).
Summers were organized in the house with a rigor that I do not remember. Child, I was less concerned about the contents of the pantry as there was in my plate of what I recover nicely. Yet behind 5 brothers and sisters, sometimes more, were to feed, as well as many cousins cousins just as hungry for games outside the house offered by these fine days. Each had an established role and maintain for the smooth running holiday ...
I do not care as very sweet memories of those moments a little lost in my childhood in this small corner of Isere where I'm not really returned.
Upstairs, one room, called the dorm consisted of four beds, a wardrobe and a huge trunk. In the closet, it was stored with old library books rose: almost everything from the writings of the Comtesse de Segur I ate sitting on the steps of the terrace, or in my bed on nights when the storm made me tremble (as they may fear appearing in an old house brittle violent lightning).
I love these old books, yellowed pages on which the words may have felt -The lead characters have dug légèremet paper-thick cardboard covers, pretty pictures of Andre Pécoud , but also the delicacy of Madeleine and Camille (my favorite heroines with disobedient Sophie), fruit orchard bursting sun and swallowed the sly, walks in the park, dresses in white percale ...
To extend this feeling sometimes that the summer may also be a great season-not an exhibition of the most remote holiday-pies were prepared on Sunday. And it was all sunny in the house.
