The Startup Weekend will eventually take place in its first edition and will be held at the 25-26-27 February 2011 Spirit Pole Technologique El Ghazela in Tunis. Purpose of event: 54h to create a startup from an idea!
Open to all, Startup Weekend brings together students Tunis, developers, designers, marketing experts, lawyers, engineers, accountants, investors, entrepreneurs, business angels or just people who have want to launch their startups. In total, 150 people to create 16 startups from ideas presented but also the contribution of several people who will form into teams, each contributing to the culmination of an idea and creating a startup.
Ideas will be presented Sunday at a panel of experts and investors who will validate and reward the best startups of tomorrow. The program

Friday, February 25, 2011:
-15h30: Welcome
-16h30: Gathering to meet and brainstorm
-17h30: Start of Pitch Fire (for those wishing description in 2 minutes of their idea)
-20.00: The teams are formed (ten teams)
-21.00: The teams have solidified their concept and created an "elevator pitch"
-22h00: Coffee break to continue the discussion and try to prototype the project paper
Saturday, February 26, 2011:
-09h00: Start of development work
-10h30: First conference
flash-14h30: Second conference
flash-15h00: Continuation of technical development, design business plans
-16h30: Third conference
flash-18h00: Visit of special guests and pitch teams.
-21h00: Product control, building prototypes base talks between the teams around a buffet
Sunday, February 27, 2011:
-09h00: The workday starts.
-10h30: Fourth Conference
flash-12h00: Projects are being developed; registration sites (if necessary) are implemented
-14h30: Fifth Conference
flash-16h30: Sixth Conference
flash-19h00 : Presentation of selected projects before the Jury then votes
-21h00: Award ceremony for the winner and cocktail
